Versions 0.8.3 and before require GNOME 1.x to run. Versions after this
(0.9.X) require GNOME 2.x.
If Libranet supports GNOME 2, then it should be possible to get 0.9.3
running. What you need to check is for support of the pygtk2 package.
The GRAMPS 0.9.3 has pre-built packages for SuSE 8.1, Red Hat 8, RedHat
9, and Debian. Rumor has it that packages are avaiable for Mandrake at
the Mandrake Club.
I believe that Libranet is based on Debian, so it should be possible to
get GRAMPS running. However, to my knowledge, there is no one officially
creating packages for Libranet.
