Yes! I wrote the initial implementation this summer but I need to bring
it up to date with the latest changes in v19.
You may recall me chiming in on jackit-devel whenever API extensions are
proposed that would be impossible for PortAudio to support. The one I
remember off the top of my head was requiring that jack clients pass
their argc and argv to jack_init() -- PortAudio can't do this since it
doesn't ask for argc and argv.
I'm hoping that with our more robust Audio I/O system and support for
OSS/ALSA/JACK, we can get the hard-core linux audio people to actually
bat an eye in our direction. :-)
