Sadly enough I don't have any Windows version on this machine - I'd
prefer not to have to repartition it to be able to install an OS which
I'm not going to use to check/set some settings.
The linux "serial" driver finds /dev/ttyS0 (a standard serial port) but
not /dev/ttyS1. It would seem it really is disabled.
