This is a perfect example of the confusion that the current UI
causes, and why it must be changed.
MSN does not particularly use the drop down settings. Rather, it
*always* uses both the "allow below" and the "deny below" lists.
anyone not on the "allow below" cannot see you, anyone on the "deny
below" is blocked, regardless of what the setting actually says.
Further, for msn accounts, to remove someone from one list
automatically puts them on the other. There is no way to fully
remove someone from both lists.
