Subject: [sdcc-devel]Possible changes to Makefiles...
I did an update from the CVS archive a few moments ago, followed by a
configure (with various parameters) and a make distclean and then did a
cvs diff, the attached file is the result.
Some weeks ago I sent in a bug report mentioning these putative problems
with the Makefiles but I think only one of them got fixed. Can I
suggest that it would be good to fix the others as well. The issue is
that the current Makefiles only really work properly if sdcc is
installed into the default location -- this is something we cannot do in
our environment (I assume everyone else currently using sdcc can). Also
I am not sure that make distclean actually does do a full clean -- there
appear to be remnants which should perhaps not be there?
