No, there's a way to do this from within a DOS window. I'm fairly sure that it
is documented in the SDCC web documentation pages. You have to run some kind of
DOS utility giving the normal SDCC command line as a parameter. The stdout and
sterr streams are written to files. I can't remember any details, but I have
used it with SDCC when I had the same problem as the original poster.
