my good men:
i'm able to whittle about 30mins a day for Syck. and it's plenty. i'm
getting very close to compliance. the notable ommissions are throwaway
comments and the two collection shortcuts.
see http://whytheluckystiff.net/syck/ for details.
so 0.15 will be out in the next few days. i will be announcing to the
Ruby, Python and PHP lists. all three extensions are useable and very
swift. (see my blog for benchmarks.)
i'm trying to determine how to distribute these three extensions
individually. or if they should be distributed individually. or
whatever?
with yaml.rb, i'll be distributing syck + yaml.rb. half-C and
half-Ruby. should the same go for Py and PHP? any ideas?
