For a while now, Half-Life has depended on the Steam platform to operate 
(and HL2 has always depended on this, especially if you didn't buy the 
CD edition).

The old "hl.exe -game XXXXXXX" behaviour is no longer appropriate, as 
all valve-sanctioned mods are now executed with "steam.exe -applaunch NN".

The attached patch removes the unneccessary "-steam" tag for HL2, and 
replaces the "-game" tag with the result of a Custom Arg. Appropriately, 
default Custom Args for all currently shipping Valve games are included.

I've written a quick & dirty hack to allow custom formatting for the
Copy+ command. It uses the variable copyplusformat in ~/.qf/config under section [Appearance].

For example the format: /me is playing on "<name>", <ip>:<port>, Map: <map>, Players: <players>/<maxplayers> 
procudes this output: /me is playing on "The Sixpack rules by fd.de", 217.172.178.34:28960, Map: fueldump, Players: 8/28

Perhaps someone wants to integrate this in the XQF sources, eventually
with an edit box in the preferences dialog. Here's a short blog entry
