Hey guys i'm not on the mailing list but I want you to be aware of this and the community would *REALLY* appreciate it if you could make this work. As we know, AA has no public master server. It has been reverse engineered before (aabrowse), but that was old and this is a new AA since version 2.4.
The release of 2.4 had some political issues -- no release for Linux or Mac, and Mac specifically was held because of Gamespy licensing issues. To resolve this they decided to do their own master server mirror. This is what Mac users use for their master server list in 2.5, and it is updated constantly like a real master server would be.

That's it, right there.
Now if someone from XQF would be kind enough to write up a little parser for that and make it the master server for XQF it would be *greatly* appreciated by all the Linux players. Seriously.
Please let me know what you developers think of the subject... good idea, bad idea, not workable with your project, already discussed with such-and-such result... it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
