This is the wrong approach, there are mods that actually use mixed
case (e.g. TribalCTF). Q3 shouldn't be case sensitive, just like on
windows. The problem can be partly worked around by using a qstat
that queries q3 servers in a different way to get the directory name
used by the server. This however doesn't help against stupid server
admins that modify the case of the directory. As long as no new
version of qstat is released, the easiest way is to just symlink e.g
the upper case version of the mod dir to the lower case one in the
global and local q3 directory.
