Seems like there is another problem with xine's internal mad library:=20

I don't want to add external mad library support mandatory, as this means n=
ot=20
being able to use xine on mips (for example) where libmad is=20
masked/blacklisted (while this still means that xine's internal mad library=
=20
breaks there, at least it's possible to install there, also if latest versi=
on=20
stated working is 1_rc8-r1).
If it's possible to use ffmpeg to decode mp3 when mad is not enabled (and t=
hen=20
adding a way to disable mad completely) it would really be useful for us.

[xine-devel] Ubuntu bug forwarding

Hi,

I recently got in contact with the Ubuntu team and they have some  
xine-related bugs in their bugzilla. Would anyone object, if such  
bugs would be forwarded to our Sourceforge bugtracker? (They are low  
in volume.) I think it would be beneficial to have all xine-related  
bugs collected in one place.

You're better off using Ubuntu's bugzilla directly, the sourceforge
bugtracker is at best a toy.

how to play the file whose format is h.264/avc with xine.
I converted a file in the format of mpeg2 into the file in the
format of h.264/avc with VLC.But,the file can't be played with 
xine-ui-0.99.4 + xine-lib-1.1.0.Howevr,VLC can play it.
  I send the same problem to the "xine-user@..." and
a heart-heated helper told that 
"I have no problems playing x.264 encoded files in xine as long as the
audio is not AAC. This works for both AVI and MP4 containers. When audio
is AAC xine crash on line 1967 in h264.c, so may be the problem is with
audio not video."
   I want to know how I play the file in the format of h.264.
