Some random thoughts:
I would like to ensure that Code Dragon is able to compile under Unicode, I
think we should comply with this from the outset, as converting later is
always a pain. Currently, wxCRP it is not Unicode compliant (though most
scripting engines are not Unicode) .
But I have been looking at its design. Basically a specialised scripting
engine that gets template data from a repository, and delivers it through
and wizard UI that generates required files.
I know we are looking at embedding some type of scripting engine (lua seems
to be the prime candidate), having two scripting languages in the same app
seems to smack of inconsistency.
I think I am putting forward a proposal to build a template system, using a
model similar to wxCRP, but driven by a Lua scripting engine.
How does this sound?
