WixEdit

Apparently setting declaration makes WixEdit nuts since it claims no 
root element is found. File reload doesn't work after this has happened, 
however I am able to close the project fine if I don't try to save changes.

Sorry for flooding but I found out that the declaration must be before 
anything else. I placed the declaration after the comments "# This 
comment is generated by WixEdit, the specific commandline" and that was 
making it nuts. Also candle spit out errors. Placing declaration as the 
first thing fixes all errors and strange behaviors.

You are right, WixEdit should add a xml declaration when creating new
wxs files. Adding a declaration by hand should be done before the
WixEdit comment.

I've fixed it right away, and committed it to cvs. It will be in the
next release.

Welcome to the wixedit-users list, I've just create this list a few
days ago. So this subject hasn't been discussed, actually you've just
sent the first email to the list. ;-)

It seems that you want to have libraries added automatically to the
light command. Maybe there should be a possibility to configure a list
of library directories in WixEdit, so with every compile action all
libs in those directories are provided to light. It sounds like a good
feature. Could you submit a feature request?

Thanks for the feedback, nice to hear WixEdit helps you to create msi
installers even without learning XML first. I hope you keep reporting
issues and submitting feature requests, to improve WixEdit.

Done. You're free to change it as I'm not good with explaining things ;) 
There's actually two separate features, if wanted. First would be to 
have the editor to remember library paths and feed them each time to 
light. Second would be auto detection of required libs. This shouldn't 
be such a problem since libraries have certain names and AFAIK, WixEdit 
knows all the time what features are used in a project.
