What we *really* need is some tests so we know whether we are in good
shape to release. That's the one most important feature we are
missing, and the one that makes releases more difficult and more
stressful than they should be.
There's still a bunch of other work to doing a release, document
updating, reviewing version numbers and package completeness, website
updating, announcements, etc... but that work is a little easier to do.
