On zope.org I recall reading about such a thing. I think it had a piece that
ran like a proxy, collecting actions into a script, and then could run the
script. That's all I recall; I hope this helps.

Subject: [Webware-discuss] Interactively creating test suites
There was a bit of discusson on the Wiki about an interactive test
creation -- i.e., you go into some testing mode, interact with the
website, and everything is recorded. Later on those actions can be
repeated automatically. This seems like a very easy way to make tests.
Has anyone used something like this? It doesn't have to be tied to
Webware -- there was some mention of a Python-based piece of software
that isn't really complete, but this doesn't actually need to be in
Python at all, or have any association to Webware.
I've been working on this, but I've realized that something like this
might already exist out there... I'm not exactly sure about the term for
it, so I'm not quite sure how to search for it.
Has anyone used something like this? Thoughts, experiences?
