I am using 2.4.7-um3 (as you can see, I am on the cutting edge)
the problem is simple and is divided into two parts
1. I defined a ubd2 device as ubd2=/somedir
I mounted this inside the uml machine
what I see mounted in that directory is the entire root of my host system,
instead of seeing /somedir content and below
2. second problem is NFS hangup, when I mount an nfs directory (NFS
support is in the kernel) the mount is successfully created, but when I
try to copy a file from the mount, I get an error such as Input/Output error
(mounted with soft/nolock), when mounted without options it simply gets
stuck upon trying to read or copy.
On the other hand, ls/cd/such commands are executed correctly
My host system is a redhat 7.1 with 2.4.2 kernel, I am using the ethertap
Thanks in advance.
