Okay, I think that I figured it out ... I can't really say for sure (tell
you why later).
So I believe that the problem lies with the fact that the first service in
the workflow requires that 'organism' be bound to a namespace ('taxon'). If
you bind it, the first service should run correctly.
However, you wont be able to confirm that because of an unrelated issue (a
bug in mobycentral) that allowed people to register namespaces with names
that contain characters other than a-z and 0-9. Once the this unrelated
issue is fixed (in the next day or so), things should be fine.

Hi Eddie,
that's strange. I checked the service and the service is registered on our
public server. Furthermore the BioMOBY validation script also do not mark it
as dead service. Another thing is, that when the service is registered on
our
app-test server, at least I should be able to call it. And I am able to call
it using taverna 1.6.2. But not with 1.7.x.
Andreas mentioned that could be a cache problem on your site. Could you
update
your cache and try it again?
