Hi all,
I read a thread about weird temperature readings of some Samsung hdds
(some months ago). My Samsung SP0802N always reports between 10 and 12°C
and that's definetly wrong (MB temperature is about 27 °C all the time).
Is there anything know yet, if this can be corrected by a general factor
or is this a changing with every hdd?
The output of smartctl is attached below.
Cheers,
Carsten
PS: It's not *very* important to get the right temperature. It would
just be nice to know, if a factor of let's say 2 will give the correct
temperature actually. I hope that even with this wrong output one could
see any temperature related problems.
