Sure it can, it's a little tricky though. If anyone out there has
a script to compile apache 1.3 with mod_php and/or mod_python,
along with mod_perl, please share. Or, Slash can work with DSO
apache as well (I used to run it on mccarthy.vg) though I don't
know if performance is as good (and I didn't keep the script I
wrote to configure it, sorry).

A rewrite for apache 2 would be a lot of work. So yeah, we're
pretty much selfish gits.
