Just anote: Right now most of my time is being consumed making the
lightweight window manager for SGSTEP called NuVu. SGSTEP itself will not
be actively developed on for a couple months.

I'm not sure why this happening. My guess is that glibc is sneaking by
being compiled with i686 optimizations. Since init is a shared binary, as
soon as it loads glibc, bamn!
The SGSTEP install discs are far from perfect and are going to need some
work. I'd like to move to SYSLINUX for booting the install disc.
I'm seriously thinking of stripping all of the source from the project and
uploading the remaining "skeleton" to CVS. This would change the source
tree from 3.5GB to something much, much smaller. Of course the source tree
will have to DL sources during the build process. This should enable us to
start working on the SourceTree together. Is anybody interested?

Note that when NuVu is integrated into the system, it will require a Lot of
memory to function. NuVu double buffers the framebuffer and every window.
