Hello SDCC developers,
it seems that I almost started a new holy war with my proposal,
but this definitely wasn't my intent.
So everything remains as it is, regarding the SDCC file layout.
I'll probably come back with a proposal for Win32 port in the future... ;-)
I'm also studying the Filesystem Hierarchy Standard document,
which I found on http://www.debian.org/doc/packaging-manuals/fhs.
I assume that this is the document some of you quoted in your mails.
