I'm trying to rename a directory with SBCL 220.127.116.11. I've found that
RENAME-FILE requires the target pathname to be in filename form; i.e,
assuming that /tmp/foo is a directory, this works:
* (rename-file "/tmp/foo/" "/tmp/bar")
but this doesn't:
* (rename-file "/tmp/foo/" "/tmp/bar/")
debugger invoked on a SB-INT:SIMPLE-FILE-ERROR: #P"/tmp/bar/" can't be created.
Since my target pathname is already in directory form, I'd like to
have the latter work as well. Is that possible/desirable?
