Just a ping to bring up the subject again.
Attached is a patch to add support for the abstract namespace for Unix
Domain Sockets, along with tests for the sb-bsd-sockets test suite, and
a client server example using a C-based server and a Lisp based
client. The connectivity test uses threads.
I really would like feedback, especially if it's not acceptable.
Tested on x86-64 (threads, domain sockets, and abstract namespace),
win32 (none of these), and darwin PPC-32 (domain sockets). It would be
interesting to see how the test suite fares on platforms that support
threads and domain sockets, but lack abstract namespace support.
