I think that would be good; I can't see any good reason to have more
than one file naming convention floating around the system, so since
we're constrained to use the ANSI naming convention elsewhere, we
should use it here.
Note though that my impression is that 'search lists' are a CMU CL
extension with a vague family resemblance to some of the ANSI logical
pathname functionality. If so, then someday when I learn enough about
them to delete them without breaking things, I probably will.
