Another funny effect caused by events lying beyond a segment boundary.
Your bass segment has 32 bars, not 8 as it might appear. You resized the
segment down to 8 bars but the notes remain there, and the repeat function is
not able to stop at the segment boundary. This is a bug in Rosegarden.
If you want to clear the unwanted notes...
1. Uncheck the "repeat" checkbox for the segment.
2. Resize the segment to 32 bars or more.
3. In any editor window, erase the notes beyond the 8th bar.
4. Resize the segment again to 8 bars, and turn on the repeat again.
