Gazebo developers,
I have fixed the libplayerc interface to the gripper in Gazebo, and one
can now control it from Python. The patch has been posted in Gazebo's SF
patch tracker (I had an error in the typemap(in) in the .i file).
In testing, I'm trying pioneer2dxGrip.world. I notice that after I pick
up a block and turn, the gripper paddles and block slide in the opposite
direction of the turn, as if they were on a frictionless slider.
(I can't tell if this is the same issue that Wiratna was reporting
earlier this week, but they did mention gripper and sliding.)
