A tiny plugin in tcl.
Sends /msg NickServ IDENTIFY <passwd>, when needed, on
signing in xx.irc.freenode.net
A patch is also available for tcl_cmds.c (1.3.0), you
otherwise may modify nickserv.tcl itself (enter your
NickServ passwd in nickserv.tcl).

Mr Laagar, I was not aware about IRC Helper plugin for Gaim
when I hacked around to write nickserv.tcl for my personal use.
I have downloaded, compiled and installed IRC Helper plugin;
agreed it is better.
You may close my plugin and related patch for tcl_cmds.c
which stand useless against IRC Helper plugin.

I'm biased (as I wrote it), but I'd suggest using IRC Helper instead.
It doesn't require modifications to Gaim, it's compatible with
versions of Gaim >= 1.0.0, runs on *nix and Windows, and
supports multiple networks.
