About this Mac reports a 500 MHz PowerPC G3, now! That's sure better=20
than the old 0MHz one ;)

Has anyone tried to get CVS via ssh, using his/her sourceforge login? CVS=20

Yes, I have tryed several times: Result:

cvs checkout: failed to create lock directory for 
`/cvsroot/pearpc/pearpc' (/cvsroot/pearpc/pearpc/#cvs.lock): Permission 
denied
cvs checkout: failed to obtain dir lock in repository 
`/cvsroot/pearpc/pearpc'

I tried with:
export CVS_RSH=ssh
cvs -z 3 -d :ext:rgoodwin@... co pearpc

But it won't accept my sf.net login (which I know is fine because I logged
in and out of sf.net web page). Do you have to be a developer to do it via
SSH?

This might help, I found that the anonymous CVS isn't answering on 2401,
so I accessed it on port 80 like so:
cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@... login
cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@... co pearpc

Great indeed... I just tested both 0.2 and 0.2 with new timing code, 
downloaded with Richard's trick, and both compile just fine. I haven't 
been able to actually test them though, got to wait until I get to work 
for that.

Can you please post a tarball of this and possibly latest HEAD cvs since the
sf.net cvs server is not working for us regular folk?

missing. Copy from already checked-out CVS.
The newclock branch is known not to compile on Windows.
