I did it in a special way... <br>
- Downloaded tarballs and unziped. <br>
- Stopped everything and backed up<br>
- Console upgrade script. Seemed to be ok. The database upgrade
didn't work (the script tries to launch 3.1-to-3.2 script, not the
3.2-to-4-0 one!!)<br>
- Launched the upgrade SQL script manually. One error (should it
be important??):<br>

ERROR 1064 (42000): You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the
manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right
syntax to use near 'using btree' at line 1<br>

- Server upgrade script. Seemed to be ok. Tried to start it but
"pandora" user was deleted!! I recreated it and started the server.<br>
- Agents, backed up the config, uninstalled, and installed again.<br>
<br>
Now everything seems to work ok. But I'm afraid the SQL error will
raise sometime in the future...<br>

Nope, 5.x series it's pretty old and you have to install a lot of
deps with non-official repos.<br>

I cant see a clear way for doing an upgrade so I
will try to explain the steps I think I have to
make:<br>

- Actual version and system:<br>
- CentOS 5.6 <br>
- Pandora FMS 3.2</font><br>
- Database MySQL<br>
- Should I first upgrade to 3.2.1? Its supposed to be
easy, so no problem.<br>
<br>
- Stop Pandora Server and Apache<br>
<br>
- Install the 4.0 rpm packages (without uninstalling
3.2.1)<br>
<br>
- Check for the upgrade scripts: I see 2 SQL scripts
inside the console rpm (pandoradb_data.sql and
pandoradb.sql), and a bash script
(pandora_console_upgrade). This bash script should do
the trick?<br>
<br>
- Check common errors in the link you provided<br>
<br>
- Have a coffe<br>
<br>
- Try to launch server and console again.<br>
<br>
Should this be ok?<br>
