I just recently installed opentaps (to try to provide support for someone who
at first wanted to deploy ofbiz and never heard of it) and while it seemed to
work out of the box i did get this error too , i tried your fix (am not a java
programmer) but it didn't work , whined that timeZone is undefined , here's
my code that fixed it & works after a bit of digging around the utils code trying
to grasp what it does & how datetime patterns work , i'm guessing it'll fail
completly as soon as you switch to something not MM/DD/YY based (like DD/MM/YY)
but when i switch to french language it still seems to be us locale based ,
is the program made to use only MM/DD/YY time format & my fix is safe or could
you suggest something more generic?
ts = UtilDateTime.stringToTimeStamp(productsSoldThruTimestamp, "mm/dd/yy HH:mm:ss.S",
