The reason we split out iplike, jicmp and jrrd were due to build and
compilation issues. There are so many variables with respect to C code
and JNI integration that issues like this our bound to occur. We try
to cover all of the bases with our yum repo, but we build against the
most vanilla configuration for each distribution. Perhaps something
changed on your VM, I'm not sure.
But as you found it should be pretty easy to rebuild the RPM on your
particular platform. Once it is working the code does not change much
so you shouldn't need to do it again.
