Summary: [MSX-Audio] slave mode
Initial Comment:
I am not sure if this has really to do with 'long samples',
as I am only referring to FAC demo IV here..
The last part of the demo features a midi-tower, when
the eject button is pressed, OpenMSX only plays about
half of the sample that is triggered (*scratch* - 'heeey,
u ruined my record man!')
This can be seen/ heard in other emu's as well, although
some only play the scratch sound, others the 'hey' as
well, and OpenMSX will even play a little bit beyond that
sometimes :P (taking it 1 step further again ;))

Note that at this moment, the sample isn't audible at all. It's one big
pile of noise. So, it seems something broke since this bug was reported. :(

This seems to be a problem with the 8-bit DAC.
The problems are:
- it has some kind of direct access, which is not
implemented (slave mode)
- the timing of the status bits is not implemented
Note that in blueMSX it is also not working perfectly, but
already a bit better, Herman said that the samples at least
dont' sound distorted, but that the timing is off.

The problem is not 'long samples' but 'Y8950 slave mode
isn't implemented'. Below is a similar bug report:

Ok, sorry, due some reinstall i lost my config I adjusted,
so I didn't
have enough ram what causes the reset, but still the sample
isn't played
correct, it sounds like the timing is wrong (but I'm not sure).
