Android improved very fast last year, and theoretically it would be
possible to run OmegaT port on Tablet PC. But Java on Android (especially
UI) is enough differ than desktop Java. I don't know anybody who are woking
for create Android port of OmegaT, and I'm not planning to do it. OmegaT
has enough complex UI, so, it will be not so simple to port it into
Android's UI framework.
Perhaps, it will be much simpler for use just some remote UI, like rdesktop
or VNC for work with OmegaT on desktop via Tablet PC.
There is also Boltran project which provides Web UI for OmegaT core. You
can try to use OmegaT via standard browser. Many features from desktop's
OmegaT will not work, of course.
We are preparing functionality for team work in standard OmegaT, so, it
will be possible to change OmegaT for Java Applet, or just use WebStart
instead web-based UI for work with OmegaT via web. But it will not work on
Android devices, of course.
WBR, Alex.
