Could anyone familiar with the code explain how mlterm handles
reordering for Indic scripts (and possibly also bidi text). In
particular I'm interested in the relationship between logical order of
characters in the terminal buffer and the display order, and the
interaction between cursor positioning functions/insert/delete and
existing characters already in the terminal. I'm also very interested
in what is supposed to happen with characters that 'should' have
different character-cell widths in different contexts, for example the
