You *should* have 0.6.0-hg-20130823-1, but I can understand why you
don't; I need to update my personal release page, so that it remains at
least as current as the MinGW project page, (which is where you'll find
the newer version, as the default download for MS-Windows).

Why is the latter required, for a pthreads upgrade? I'm mystified.

I already know about this problem, thanks; there never has been any such
release of pkginfo. The reference is fixed in 0.6.0-hg-20130823-1.
