Wait, what? Out of curiosity, why do you want to compile Wine for WinXP, when WinXP can
already execute Windows applications natively? Or do you want to use WinXP to compile
Wine for a *nix (Linux, Solaris, etc.) target?
MinGW is a compiler that targets Windows only, using the Windows libraries... NOT *nix,
thus it doesn't use the X11 libs. If your intent is to build Wine for Linux, you need a
cross-compiler that targets Linux... and MinGW on XP is not the correct tool for this job.
