Hi every body
I am a computer engineer student i am doing a MFC win32 application using mesa:
i tryed 4.0.4 and latest.
And i found several problems that i cant solve :/ i looked a lot in the ailing
lists archives and i asked there too but seems noone knows or ...
anyway i would like u to helpme please , i describe here what happened:
after several tests with my code linking with mesa libs , i was unable to get
a
valid pixel format.
then i choosed some Win32 simple applications from (nehe.gamedev.net - lesson
1)
and i replaced GL Includes&Libs for Mesa ones and i tested the code , i get
same problem , windows is unable to find a valid pixel format.
i looked inside the mesa-glut code searching for a pixel format descriptor , i
found a typical PFD declaration and i tested with it ( same error ) , that
code
worked fine with GL libs but just when i link with Mesa ones he is unable to
find it , anyway glut is able for create the window for mesa in Win32 but i
cant use it inside a Win32 or MFC aplication :(((((
please Helpme masters , i would be very very happy if u giveme a hint or some
usefull information ... thx for all!!!!!!!!!!!
i am missing something? what is that Win32 driver? it does not gets compilated
by the compilation script , is it needed?
why mesa glut works and mesa lib cant giveme success wgl calls?
anyone tested succefully a mesa in win32 enviroment without glut????
