Hi,
OK I double checked the last set of edits and I didn't remove any
validateOnParse.

Do you know which version you were last using that you did not have this
issue?  
Searching the code there are a couple of places where we are turning off
validation (Config.js, logger.js, Util.js)  There is also one in
ModelBase.js which has been commented out for quite some time on line 245.

I tested more versions and have the issue in version 2183 but not in 2182.

The problem can be reproduced in IE6 with MSXML5 installed.

Since MSXML5 is included in Office 2003 which is often installed on Windows,

I think this problem  need to be fixed before 2.0 release.

Thanks for the research please enter the information into our issue tracker.
Go to here: http://www.communitymapbuilder.org/
Then on the right hand side you will see "Issue Tracker"
Then select "Create a new issue in project Mapbuilder"

I will try to look into this towards the end of next week.  I have a machine
with XP2, Office 2003 so hopefully I will be able to reproduce.

[Mapbuilder-users] Switching between text fields

Hi list,

While adding a feature (or editing an existing one), the focus can be 
switched between the text fields by using the (Shift +) Tab key. This 
however, doesn't work if something is typed in one of the text fields. In 
this case, Tab moves the focus away from the form all together. This 
behaviour can be seen in the wfs-t demo; Try adding a feature point and 
press Tab after filling in topp:CITY_NAME.

Does anyone know of a solution for this?

I haven't tried with firefox 1.5 but I have it working in earlier 
versions. I think it is a mapbuilder issue. I will CC the mapbuilder 
list and see if they have any suggestions.

Would you be able to download the latest Mapbuilder code (release 1.0.1) 
and replace the version currently used by Geoserver?
The problem might be been fixed by a later release (although I don't 
remember such a problem).

Brent, could you please tell Miles where the Mapbuilder jar needs to be 
inserted.

I assume you donwload the compressed version of Mapbuilder rather than 
the .war file?
Ie: mapbuilder-lib-1.0.1-release.zip

Attached is a Proj.js with stereographic projection functions and a
definition for EPSG 28992. I do not know if it works, but give it a
try and let us know what you find.

Note that Proj.js will only convert between projected and spherical
coordinates. It does not do datum transformations. EPSG 28992
(Amersfoort / RD New) uses the Bessel ellipsoid, which is not the the
same as the GRS80 ellipsoid used by WGS84, so you will not get WGS84
long/lat. You will get long/lat on the Bessel ellipsoid.

I am working on a JavaScript library called "cscs" which will do datum
transformations. It is not currently incorporated into MapBuilder. You
can check it out of SVN at:
  http://svn.codehaus.org/mapbuilder/cscs/trunk/cscs/

Have you looked at the FeatureList.xsl widget which is used by the 
demo/wfs-t/ demo? It processes the GML from a WFS query and could be 
used to process a WMS FeatureInfo response if the response is in GML.

[Mapbuilder-users] SLD mapbuilder geoserver communication

I have some layers linked in geoserver and want to adjust their style
through SLD using mapbuilder. Thus I thought of inclucing the SLD as a
link in the context document. However geoserver still applies the
default style. What do I have to do? I just applied added the SLD as in
SLDParamExample.xml.
