Yeap, i had the same reaction, but i couldn't make it work. I even
irrecord-ed the non-RC5 remote with a serial receiver and tried to use it
with the igorplugusb device but lirc didn't recognize any of the codes.
A RC5 remote worked just fine with both receivers... Also, the non-RC5 codes
captured with the serial receiver were exactly the same with the ones shown
in girder with igor's driver ... So it looks like a driver problem, but i
can't figure out what's the problem. Even tried to play with the driver's
parameters but i still get some "buffer overrun" messages and the codes are
never recognized :(
Anyway, the device is fine and the driver is ok if you use a RC5 remote :)
It is a very usefull tool for presentations ;)
