Cisco sells an iSCSI target called the SN 5420. All of the current
linux-iscsi developers work for Cisco, so we don't have much need for
fake targets. All of our day-to-day development work uses 5420s.

I gave up after a day of fighting with it, but that was before the
Plufest, and I know they've sent out newer code since then, so you may
have better luck now. Or not, depending on what iSCSI draft they're
using these days. We're at draft 6+ right now (what was used for
Plugfest, essentially draft 6 with some different opcodes), and we're
in the process of upgrading to draft 8.
