No, I don't think so. It's just that in Quicken, they used a different
source for price updates, so had different symbols altogether, plus some of
my funds weren't recognised so I made dummy symbols.
On switching to KMM, I imported and edited the old symbols and have done one
or two on-line updates. Generally, though, I don't do on-line updates, but
just do a monthly manual update because yahoo uses a different price
(mid-point, perhaps) to my historic ones for some funds.
So, I don't really need the symbols at all at present. But, somehow, either
a relic from the initial import, or some quirk since, on the database and as
seen in Tools/Securities, the old and the new symbols appear in the two
security entries. The price entries appear initially against one fund, then
switch to the other for quite a few entries, then back again for the most

Sorry 'bout that. It's CVS HEAD from two days ago. I'd noticed your
comment on the site about the database being broken a few weeks ago and
couldn't see a mention of it being fixed, but thought I'd try anyway. Of
course, though, the problem is showing up in KMM itself, irrespective of the

Thanks for any help or suggestions.
