Added to CVS HEAD (so it will show up in 1.0.2). No UI though, but tweaking
the kmymoney2rc file a bit will help. Yours should contain the following line
somewhere in the [Global Options] section:
stdTransactionFormTabOrder=account,cashflow,payee,amount,category,memo,number,date,state
The default of this setting is
stdTransactionFormTabOrder=account,cashflow,payee,category,memo,number,date,amount,state

The split transaction editor comes a long way and not yet seen a necessary
overhaul. I am pretty sure, once we have done that it will be much more
(keyboard) user friendly. Please don't ask when this will happen. Spare time
is the limiting factor here.
