K3b - The CD Creator for KDE

Hi all,

I'm a debian sid user and I'm trying to compile the cvs k3b's respository (=
following the k3b web intructions). But when is the time to do 'make' I'm g=
etting the following error message:

the implementing of "check cd after burning" option would be really nice 
;) i have seen it in Nero and i do like it.. and it doesn't have to be 
so hard to add.

Hi!

What could be wrong, because all I get when burning audio-cds is:
"Removing buffer files.
IO error.
Removing buffer files."

That message came out just immeaditely when I click "Write" -button.

"Show  Debugging Output" shows nothing. If I run K3b from console, I get this: 
http://www.ee.oulu.fi/~mahead/temp/k3b . I tried both MP3s and wavs, and got 
same result. Data-CDs can be burn nicely.

I tried to find answer from previous postings, but I couldn't find anything 
helpful. I would approciate if somebody could help me :)

I have the same problem in MDK 9. I can't drag audio files to audio proje=
ct.=20
In addition if I want copy audio CD, I can't use CD reader. In setup is m=
y CD=20
reader detected OK.

can some one please tell me how to set the permisions for /dev/cdrom
and /etc/fstab so i can burn/rip cd as a normal user.
when i try to rip audio k3b says:
cannot open device /dev/cdrom

i'm usin scsi-emulation and i have run k3b setup as root
