Thanks for your reply Mikhael but still does not work.
In my case in a bash prompt:
^v HOME --> ^[[H
^v END --> ^[[F
I pasted these into joerc.
In both case installing them in joerc produces an error when I bring up Joe.
Processing '/etc/joe/joerc' ...
/etc/joe/joerc 423: Bad key sequence '^[[F'
There were errors in '/etc/joe/joerc', use it anyway?
If I say yes joe works but HOME and END are completely ignored.
Could it be that the initial ^[ is actually control-[ ?
How could I enter that in Joe?
As a side note, in Slack 8.0 END didn't work but I think HOME did.
In the next version Slack 8.1 both HOME and END worked and I was ecstatic.
Now I'm using Libranet 2.7, a Debian clone that come out a couple months ago.
Any other ideas?
I like Joe (and Worstar / Qedit / Vedit) so much - my fingers just fly without thought.
