No .. no reason. It just assumes clients would perform the type test
before calling GVN. I have no objection to enhancing DD if you'd like to
contribute a change.

Is there any reason why OPT_GlobalValueNumberState.DD() doesn't consider
types? I would think that if two congruence classes have types that are
not compatible, it's safe to say they are definitely different.
