Hello,
I am working on adding features to JFreeChart for Boeing. As the note be=
low
suggests, the intent is to contribute the changes back to the community.
Potential changes include:
-Adding subtick capability (in progress): The changes allow adding any n=
umber
of subticks as a division of the major tick. The user can specify the len=
gth,
thickness, and color for each subtick. The user will also be able to spe=
cify
different grid properties associated with each subtick unit.
-Improved property editor dialogs
-Allowing placement of the legend in the chart area
As I make my changes, I am doing my best not to break the current public =
API or
disrupt the current design too much.
If you have any suggestions, please let me know. I also want to make sur=
e I'm
not duplicating work with other JFreeChart development going on out there=
.
