Dear JEuclid interest-group,
Announcing JEuclid 2.9.8 aka 3.0 RC: We're almost there: The new
Release is just around the corner!
There have been few bugfixes to the core module, but most of the work
has been gone into the support:
- FOP support is actively being worked on with patches submitted to
FOP to allow for better integration
- a XXE plugin ( http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/ ) adds support for
MathML in XXE
- a new FOPREP application can now be used to prepare XSL-FO files by
replacing all instream MathML with SVG codes and adding the correct
baseline-shift, to allow proper rendering of MathML in XSL-FO
applications wihout MathML support.
With this Release, I would also like to actively ask for new
contributers! If there is anything you ever wanted to change about
JEuclid, please submit patches, discuss on the -devel mailing list,
or modify the code if you have access!
I've created a new branch in the SVN repository:
is the development branch. Feel free to make any changes, as long as
they are internally consistent. Feel free to break the API if you
need. This branch is open for any extensions.
is the "stable" branch, for the 3.0.0, 3.0.1, ... releases. Only bug-
fixes should go here.
I will work on splitting the website, and modifying the pom.xmls to
reflect the new branches in the next couple of days. However, this
only relates to releasing (website, etc.), so you may start hacking
