wingS

I guess the issue is, that during the first load some javascript-libraries are
missing in the header of the second SFrame.

I'm afraid that currently wingS 3b1 won't support more than one frame per
session in the first release. A few per-frame handling methods were dropped
during development in favour for the incremental update feature, but it should
possible to reimplement frame support with limited effort.

Hi,

we are aware, that the wingS 3.0 beta1 doesn't support multiple frames =20
yet. If you are willing to help us, we will certainly include it in =20
the final release. Otherwise, it might fall behind, as the importance =20
to support multiple frames in an ajax- environment is lower than for =20
example proper keyboard handling or drag and drop and we are a little =20
short of resources at the moment.

are almost identical. The branch has a few fixes and it isn't java 5 =20
dependent at the moment. The branch is the development line. However, =20

Hi Hamster!

IE 7 is not officially supported by wings 2.x. However as the =20
differences between ie 6 and ie 7 are rather minor, you might be able =20
to fix it by changing the stylesheet.

IE 7 will be supported in wingS 3.x, which is scheduled for end of march.

We are aware, that there are lots of changes between 2.0 and 2.1. The =20
main goal of 2.1 was compatibility with upcoming ajax releases (3.x =20
series). Upgrading from 2.1 to 3.0 beta1 is a matter of replacing the =20
jars in most cases.

actually, is there a guide for developers on writing CG's?
i do agree it should be fairly easy to look at the existing
implementation and go from there.  however, i'm sure there
are also certain pitfalls that would be good to be aware
of.  specifically now with the move towards an ajax-enabled
solution.

I've also noticed this issue. It doesn't occur i.e. within the MSIE. The problem
seems to be, that if wingS modifies the current HTML document via DOM some
internal sizing processes inside FireFox are not triggered in every case and
FireFox keeps the old size of a component.

If you find solution or a hint on how to trigger this for sure, this would be
great.

apparently the problem was solved by making sure that all panels and
subpanels had explicitely SDimension.FULLWIDTH on setpreferredsize, but you
can test if this solves for you.
