Inkscape uses GtkSpell for its spell checking. It seems to work fine
[within GtkSpell's limits] in the Text dialog box (Ctrl+Shift+T,
Text tab), whereas there's no on-canvas spell checking that I know of.
Looking in the source code, I don't find any relevant mention of `spell'
outside of dialogs/text-edit.cpp: i.e. it doesn't look as if there's any
