In addition to Keith's URL, Sunstone has PCB123, which is a pretty decent
program from both software standpoint and order fulfilment.

I've done quite a bit through them in the past.

The uncompressing message comes from the decompressors (which is
called deom u-boot bit isn't part of uboot).

The simplest way to get rid of it is to comment out the putc routine
found in this header file:
gumstix-buildroot/build_arm_nofpu/linux-2.6.11gum/include/asm/arch/uncompre=
ss.h

Then remove build_arm_nofpu/linux-2.6.11gum/arch/arm/boot/compressed/vmlinu=
x
and redo make. This will cause the kernel and decompressor to get
rebuilt, and then a new rootfs.
